Diagnosing Food Allergies
Treatment Options

In order to treat you or your child for food allergies, we must first identify the allergen and the severity of it.

The most common allergy test is the skin prick test. We can also do a blood test or an oral challenge test. The oral challenge test is used more often when we know the specific allergen. We introduce the allergen to the patient in small doses while monitoring closely.
